Our Process

We operate outside the confines of a traditional and seasonal release model. New designs are added as inspired, with some items being limited and subject to availability.

Slow Fashion
Embracing a slow fashion ethos, we support mindful consumption, offering pieces that are timeless.
This is to reduce our use of resources, minimise wasteful production, and mitigate the environmental impact.

Made to Order
In keeping with our slow fashion ethos our designs are predominantly made to order. This helps mitigate waste by producing only what is needed.

We also offer a limited amount of stock available in select styles.
Our designs are produced in small batches and we introduce a limited number of new designs throughout the year.

Fabrics
With a strong focus on the feel and drape of a garment, importance is given to the fabric choice.
We have a preference for using natural fabrics for their performance and comfort against the skin, such as silk, cotton, and wool.

Whenever possible, we will choose deadstock fabric. Deadstock fabrics are leftover material that are destined for landfill. This is from an over ordering process that involves brands, manufacturers, and mills.

People
Our garments are proudly made in Aotearoa New Zealand by talented local makers. Establishing respectful relationships with people who are experts in their field is something we care deeply about.
